School Improvement Plans

District Improvement Plan - The District Improvement Plan has three components: Goals, Action Steps, and Targets and Measures. It is developed in concert with the District 36 Strategic Plan and informed by a review of student assessment data. Goals for the 2016-17 school year focus on the academic areas of Mathematics and English Language Arts. The Goals, Action Steps, and Targets and Measures of the District Improvement Plan are collectively owned by all schools. These efforts, combined with individual School Improvement Plans, represent our District’s ongoing commitment to continuous improvement.

School Improvement Plans - School Improvement Plans are intended to help schools focus on specific school goals. Each of the District’s schools has a team comprised of administrators, classroom teachers, specials teachers, and parents who meet throughout the year to design and evaluate the plans.  School Improvement Plans include local school community goals and a description of how each goal advances the Shared Vision of District 36. In addition, an action plan complete with key indicators of progress and a mechanism to collect evidence of goal attainment is included.  To view the current School Improvement Plans and District Improvement plan, please click on the links below.
